We’ve got two ways you can get involved in our annual Hikurangi cleanup!!The first is our usual KNZB roadside rubbish cleanup where you and your whanau can join us in cleaning up the streets! Any village roadsides and public spaces are eligible for cleaning up, just let us know where you want to tidy up, we’ll supply the bags and gloves and dispose of the rubbish for you!
Our second event is a new one where our community groups are coming together to help locals with their front yards by offering labour and equipment for: water blasting, weeding, mowing, and painting! If you live on George St or King St, please join in the event and get those touch ups done on your berms and fences to brighten up the streetscape ready for summer! If you can’t do the tasks yourself, get in touch with us and we can send some volunteers your way!
