Join the Center for the Management of IT (CMIT) on Saturday, February 7 for a special Northern Virginia edition of the Knowledge Continuum, focused on the State of AI in the Commonwealth. This timely program brings together industry leaders, UVA alumni, faculty, and friends of the Center for an in‑depth conversation on how artificial intelligence is reshaping public and private sector innovation across Virginia.

The event will feature a thought‑provoking panel discussion at 4:30 p.m., followed by a networking reception with fellow attendees and members of the current M.S. in the Management of IT (MS MIT) cohort.

Confirmed Speakers:

  • Altin Ilirjani, PhD — Digital transformation leader, CEO of EDAV, former White House Presidential Innovation Fellow, and Georgetown University lecturer specializing in digital government, AI strategy, and data-driven innovation.
  • Chad A. Kim — CEO and technology executive known for building elite teams and delivering cutting-edge solutions across the federal and commercial sectors, with deep experience leading high‑performance organizations in Northern Virginia’s tech ecosystem.
  • Vivi Luong — Senior Associate in AI Enablement & Strategic Data at KPMG, where she advances enterprise AI governance, platform enablement, and strategic planning.
  • Ryan Wright — Rolls Royce Eminent Professor of Commerce and C‑Director of AI Research@UVA , where he leads interdisciplinary efforts to expand and elevate the University’s AI research. He is a recognized sholar focused on innovation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
