After last year’s success, we are excited to welcome back Louise Pode to store with another ski confidence course.Does skiing give you anxiety or make you nervous?We’ve all had tuition and are more than familiar with the concept of how to ski – that’s not the problem here. Our challenge is to manage the psychology of our skiing – that uncertainty which holds us back from relaxing into it and having a great day. Louise will be sharing her tips and strategies to manage your anxiety and fall back in love with skiing, whatever your level.
The aim of this inspiring 60 minute presentation is to enable you to:
· Understand the ‘why’ behind your anxiety
· Change your mindset and take control
· Build a toolkit of coping strategies
Following her presentation Louise will host a 30 minute ski with confidence clinic so feel free to stay and have a chat.
Louise Pode MSc BSc(Hons) SRP is leading UK Personal Coach for Anxious Skiers who was once that nervous skier whose skiing anxiety built up over the years. Despite bilateral hip replacements and a major skiing accident, Louise overcame her anxiety and now loves her skiing so much she has been coaching anxious skiers for the last 7 years.
Using her 25 years of experience as an Executive Coach, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner and Workplace Resilience and Wellbeing (WRAW) Master Practitioner in Executive Coaching Louise developed her Ski Coaching Programme in 2017. Her formative background as a Chartered Physiotherapist with a Masters in Ergonomics, working with the British military has given her a wealth of experience in optimising challenging environments to enhance performance.
She is a public speaker and author of ‘How to get THERE: Your personal coaching guide to take you to the next level'.
