This workshop will provide an overview of how to market your nonprofit to the public and to your donors and volunteers. We will discuss your website, social media, and group emails. Learn how to tell your story to grow and support your mission.
Fundraising:
Learn more about the primary ways to fundraise – individual donors, corporate support, private foundations, and government funding. We will discuss where to begin and information you need to give donors to sell them on your cause. Finally, we will discuss events and why they are important to fundraising.
Finance/Accounting:
Accurate revenue and expense tracking is key to keeping your nonprofit certification and to showing your donors that you are a good steward of their funds. Nonprofits must also stay compliant with the IRS by filing 990s. Audits are often a necessary part of grants. Learn about these topics and receive good tips to ensure accuracy and success.
Technology:
The technology workshop will review the many methods available to keep track of your various information categories: programmatic info and data, volunteer management info, donor tracking. We will review an array of software available for small nonprofits to utilize for tracking including Google’s free software. We will also discuss survey tools and why data is a critical component of telling your nonprofit’s story.
