Employment law is a wide-ranging group of city, state and federal laws that governs the employer-employee relationship in a variety of ways, including preventing discrimination, promoting safe work environments, and providing guidelines for employee pay and benefits. This introduction to Employment Law webinar is an informative and educational training that will provide a high-level overview of some common employment law issues for employers and employees in the Washington, D.C. area, pertaining to wage and hour, leave and benefits, discrimination and employment contracts and agreements.

The Center for Financial Inclusion and the Financial Empowerment Center at the Greater Washington Urban League is hosting a "Spark Series" of classes to help you maximize job earnings to fuel the life you want to live.
