About this Event
Know Your Rights is a 'speak up' group for adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.
We meet up once a month to talk about different things like how to find a job, how to find somewhere to live and how to speak up for ourselves and other people.
We also take part in different activities, projects and training workshops.
We would like to invite you to join us at the SS Great Britain for an open meeting.
Date: Friday 13th January
Time: 1:30pm - 4pm
Location: SS Great Britain, Great Western Dockyard, Gas Ferry Road, Bristol BS1 6TY.
On the day we will:
- speak about what our group does and how you can get involved
- have a tour of the ship
- be joined by staff from We The Curious who will have a science activity to take part in
- socialise with eachother and make new friends
- have tea, coffee and biscuits
There is no pressure to join the Know Your Rights group, everyone is welcome to come along to meet some new people, have a cup of tea and a tour of the ship and find out more about what we do.
