Join us for the Calgary screening of Know Your Place, an award winning independent film, that follows the story of an Eritrean boy Robel, as he navigates the realities of change amidst the landscape of a transforming city. Through his journey, the film grapples with themes familiar to many diaspora communities; change, loss, gentrification, responsibility, dislocation, and self-identification.A Q&A will follow the screening of the film where we will be able to discuss themes and invite attendees to share their takeaways.
