Join us for a 0.4 mile, family-friendly educational boardwalk hike. We will feature hands on activities to experiment with night vision and learn about light pollution. Bug spray will be available but we encourage everyone to wear appropriate clothing. Closed toe shoes are required. Since this is part of a Know the Dark program, we ask that all visitors help us keep the program as dark as possible. No flashlights, light up shoes, watches with light up screens, cameras etc. The success of the program depends on having our eyes adjust to the dark. Meet at Visitor Center. RSVP required. Call 561-734-8303.
