"Know Music, Know Life 2: A concert benefiting American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)" (a third party event and not affiliated with AFSP) will be held October 13th from 12 noon - 7pm at The Wildcatter Saloon in Katy, Tx. Why AFSP, and why help? AFSP is a 501c3 organization and they are in every community across America helping teens and adults of all walks of life dealing with thoughts of suicide, depression, at risk, PTSD, feelings of uselessness, mental health issues, etc. In addition, AFSP counsels those who have felt the loss of life to suicide, and educate business's, groups, etc on the signs and symptoms, and how to help! Music will start at 12:30 with the School of Rock House band, their best students. Other bands gracing the stage include Cypressville, Garbage Girlfriend, 307Departure and Lucid Illusions! Raffles, auctions and other activities will be going on throughout the day in an effort to raise as much money as possible to keep our local Southeast Texas chapter of AFSP volunteers in our communities! 100% of ALL proceeds for AFSP! All ages are welcome to this family event! Entry is a $15.00 donation per person. ALL proceeds go directly to AFSP. For more information of AFSP, or to seek help, please visit AFSP.org
