Beat the post-Christmas, belly over-stuffed, ran out of things to talk about blues and join us for some special archery fun!The session will, as always, begin with a short but thorough safety briefing and lesson on how to position yourself correctly, hold and load the bow, and tuition on how to shoot straight(ish).
Your coach will raise the challenge level of the targets as the group progresses, but the easy ones will always remain, just for that confidence booster we all need sometimes.
Hot drinks will be available throughout the session and we have a warm, cosy snug for breaks during the experience.
What about the Elf, we hear you cry? Well, your coach will be in a wonderful Elf costume for the session and as a finale will invite you to swap your sharp arrows for more Elf-friendly soft tipped ones and will allow you to shoot at them (these are professionally made LARP arrows, so perfectly safe… but satisfying). The coach will don a special protective mask for this and give clear instructions to the group before you start.
Note – your Elf coach does not WANT to be shot, so will be leaping around, fueled by mince pie power (and fear).
Minimum age for this activity is 7. There is no maximum age, so pack Granny up warm and book her in too!
