his October—Breast Cancer Awareness Month—use your talent and heart to make a real difference. We're hosting a Free Knitted Knockers Drop-In Event Saturday October 18th between 12 pm and 2pm to help make these needed resources. Patterns, approved yarn lists, and support are available to help you get started on your version. Pick some happy colors and make someone's day!Whether you're a seasoned stitcher or just picking up your needles or hook, your handmade knockers can bring comfort, dignity, and hope to those in need. It's a small act of love that makes a huge impact.
All month long, the shop will collect soft, hand-knit and crocheted breast prostheses for women who’ve undergone mastectomies or other breast procedures.
Tracy and Hayley will be on hand to provide any support with the knit or crochet help you need to get started!
