
About this Event
In this hands-on class you’ll hone basic knife skills and practice the fundamental cuts--mince, dice, brunoise, bâtonnet and julienne. We’ll practice how to cut a wide range of food items like a head of cabbage, delicate herbs, and onions, with practically no tears! We’ll also learn techniques for safety and keeping your knives maintained and sharp. Join us to become more efficient and effective in the kitchen!

- Spring Rolls
- Peanut Sauce
*Based on previous classes. Menu subject to change based on seasonality and availability.
Skills taught:
- Basic kitchen knife safety
- Variety of basic culinary cuts
- Tips and tricks for easily cutting some common veggies
Allergens: Please note that the following common allergens are part of the base recipes of this class, and therefore cannot be omitted:
- Peanuts
- This class can be made vegan and gluten free upon request
Additional Information:
- Class fee of $60.00 per participant includes lunch of all dishes made.
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Please see our for youth-appropriate classes.
- Please leave your own knives at home--all knives are provided for use during this class.
Cancellation policy:
Due to the small class sizes and nature of planning for fresh ingredients, refund/transfer requests made less than 2 weeks before the class date may not be accepted. Note that refunds may not include the Eventbrite processing fee.
