Scott Knickerbocker writes original songs that move one to re-see the world as wondrous. He also enjoys digging in the rich soil of "old, weird America"--whimsical country blues finger-picked on guitar, haunting ballads frailed on banjo, and spirited old-time dance tunes played on fiddle. Scott is a professor of English and Environmental Studies at The College of Idaho, where he teaches classes in literature, outdoor education, American roots music, and songwriting. His book Ecopoetics: The Language of Nature, the Nature of Language was published by UMass Press in 2012.Instagram: @prof.banjobocker
