Dear KMK Judo Parents,We’re excited to announce our in-house tournament scheduled for Saturday, September 28th. This event is a fantastic opportunity for our young judokas to gain experience, build confidence, and enjoy a day of fun and friendly competition.
Event Details:
Mini Ninjas Class: Regular Saturday schedule.
Tournament Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Registration: Begins at 12:15 PM
Participants will be matched by size, weight, age, and skill level under the careful discretion of Sensei Wade to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all.
Tentative Agenda:
The schedule will be arranged as participants register. Here’s the flow of the day:
-Brief Introductions and Opening Ceremony
-Young Samurai 1.0 Matches
-Mini Ninjas Matches: The Mini Ninjas will engage in light grappling from the knees in a playful manner, learning the basic protocols and formalities of match play.
-Young Samurai 2.0 Matches
-Closing Ceremony
What to Expect:
-Registration Table: Sign in and receive important information.
-Merchandise Table: Place orders for KMK Judo gear and apparel.
-Refreshments: A table with refreshments (fruits, vegetables, beverages) will be available. Food donations are appreciated. We ask that parents and families bring their own meals for the duration of the event.
