K*ll THE DANDIES! Prague band combines psychedelia, soul, 70‘s disco and post-punk. Ingredients for this lethal sonic cocktail with thick layers of hammonds, analog synths and funky guitar bites, soul vocals and baroque feelings. Weird in a Weird Way builds on the obsessive bizarreness that K*ll The Dandies! created on previous releases
such as Ron Ron and Your Blood, My Veins. Everything here is pushed to new horizons, with Lynchian moods and
colourful, surreal visions that are transformed into light touches of garage psychedelia, even veering towards the
borderlands of 70s soul and post-punk rage. Walls of guitar noise a la Velvet Underground combine with analogue synths, hot Motown rhythms and dreamy melodies driven by country-psych melancholy. Two of the tracks
are spiced up with a horn section, thus referencing the best moments of Curtis Mayfield and other „weird“ soul
artists.
