Come and dance at our Klezmer Ceilidh! Authentic caller-lead dancing to our live Eastern-European folk style band, ‘Ruach’. All the dances are taught before each tune with Pam, who is a fantastic caller. The dances are simple, quite gentle, and no previous experience required
Very different to Celtic ceilidhs or barn dances, this region of the world favours more circle and group dances, often at a slower pace, occasionally not! Absolutely no pressure to dance, there will be seats all around.
The band comprises various combinations of clarinet, accordion, xylophone, melodica, violin, ‘tuba’ and percussion, creating a unique and rustic sound
Featuring four Devon/Wiltshire musicians: Joel Segal, Sarah Scutt, Iowerth Pugh and Alfie Pugh.
