**Kkailou:** Hailing from Margate, UK, Kkailou is the latest sonic expression of Steph Dickinson—a songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist known for her genre-defying musical explorations. Now embarking on an exciting new chapter as a solo artist under the moniker Kkailou, Steph draws inspiration from her Cypriot and Irish heritage. Her upcoming EP, "Midnight," produced in collaboration with United Freedom Collective's Robbie Redway, marks her artistic evolution while staying true to her roots.
Kkailou's music is a seamless blend of poignant songwriting, organic instrumentation, and delicate lyrical storytelling, dancing effortlessly between the alt-pop and indie-folk scenes.
Her debut EP, 'midnight' is due for release in October '24.
**Meg Bird:** Born and bred in East London, Meg Bird is an emerging young artist right at the cusp of an exciting musical career. Her sound is rooted in the jazz tradition, taking inspiration from vocalists such as Betty Carter and Cecile McLorin Salvant, and she is constantly pushing songs, both old and new, to fresh boundaries. When song writing, she fuses this sound with her love for songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and Rufus Wainwright, bringing a passion for lyric into the world of jazz. Meg has performed in venues across the UK from ‘The Blue Arrow’ in Glasgow, to some of London’s most popular Jazz clubs, such as Pizza Express Soho, The Spice of Life, and The Vortex. She released her debut album ‘Girls Like Lions’ in October 2021 to critical acclaim. Her second musical contribution, an EP ‘Of Hope’ is due for release in October ‘24.
