Kizomba Class
Kizomba is a smooth, gentle, close, and sensual partner dance from Angola in southwestern Africa. In this beginner-level class, we’ll focus on body posture, lead-follow technique, and basic steps – both solo and in pairs.
This session focuses on traditional kizomba, and next time we’ll explore urban kiz.
You can also expect:

Cuban Salsa for Beginners
This is a beginner-level course — no previous dance experience is required!
The exact content may vary depending on the participants, but generally includes:
Introduction to salsa steps: basic step, forward and back step, side step, partner openings and holds
Hip movements for ladies and shoulder movements for men
Introduction to salsa turns: right turn, left turn for both followers and leaders, with various lead techniques
Rueda de Casino
Cross-body lead basics: following techniques for ladies and leading techniques for men
Dance floor combinations and partner dancing
You can also expect:
A fun and positive atmosphere
Stress relief
Clear and easy-to-follow instructions
A chance to meet lots of new people
Note: You don’t need a partner to join the class!
Social Dancing – 9:00 PM
After the classes, stick around for social dancing!
We play a rich mix of salsa, bachata, forró, merengue, zouk, reggaeton, and more — giving you the perfect chance to practice your new moves and enjoy the music.
