DOUBLE BILL!The Lander Austero Quartet is a group from the Capilano University Jazz Program which consists of bandleader, pianist and vocalist Lander Austero, trumpeter Hugh Penner, drummer Isaac Chatterton, and bassist Jake McIntyre-Paul. Joined with Juno-nominated and Canadian treasure, Bill Coon, they will be performing a selection of tunes in a tribute to the great and unforgettable pianist and singer, Nat "King" Cole.
Kitty and the Cats is a group consisting of CapU Jazz students lead by 4th year vocalist Kitty Zhao. They will be performing a variety of music from jazz-fusion, modern funk and 70s Japanese city pop arranged by the band's members.
