Welcome to Kitten Yoga! Join us at Breezeway Yoga Studio for a purrfectly relaxing experience. Our furry friends will be roaming around as you stretch and flow through yoga poses. This event is a great way to unwind, de-stress, and connect with adorable kittens. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a beginner, everyone is welcome to participate. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to combine yoga with the cuteness of kittens. Grab your mat and get ready for a meow-velous time!
Your entry to the kitten yoga experience is a $20 donation (+ Eventbrite fees) to help raise money for low income pet owners to help pay their vets bills. I'm putting together this event to help honor and remember my sweet cats Mia and Nomar.
The funds will be donated to Young Williams Animal Center and their SAFE PROGRAM.Saving Animals and Families Every day, or SAFE, provides mini grants to low-income pet parents considering surrendering their pet due to medical needs/concerns. Studies have shown that 40%, that’s nearly half, of people who surrender a pet don’t want to but feel they have no other options. So, Young-Williams created options.
Most emergency vet bills through our low-cost partners are around $250 and keep the pet with their owner and out of the shelter. The SAFE program also helps those who are most vulnerable and don’t qualify for other financial assistance, such as Care Credit. When you give to the SAFE program, your gift goes to those who need it most when they need it most.
There will also be a Spring Market and Pop Up Cat Cafe at this event.
