Welcome to In Defence of Canada: An evening with Lt.-General (Ret) Michel Maisonneuve and Major (Ret) Barbara Maisonneuve, hosted by Conservative Party of Canada Candidate for Kitchener Conestoga, Doug Treleaven.
Michel Maisonneuve, retired Lieutenant-General of the Canadian Armed Forces, was presented the prestigious Vimy Award in 2022 in recognition of his outstanding lifetime contributions to the defence of Canada and its democratic values. His stirring acceptance speech before 650 dignitaries in Ottawa sparked national press coverage of his defence of Canadian values and his promotion of meritocracy over wokeism.
Enjoy an evening at Puddicombe House with your Conservative friends and hear Michel and Barbara share their passionate appeal to the nation of Canada. Our country has long been a great place to live and an important member of the family of nations, but is sadly abandoning its history, its civil liberties, its fiscal prudence, its concern for the vulnerable, and its commitment to global stability.

This is a Fundraising Event for the Kitchener-Conestoga Conservative EDA in preparation for the next federal election. We are asking everyone to consider adding a donation above and beyond the ticket price to ensure we have the resources necessary in our local riding to win the next election.
Federal political donations are eligible for preferential tax rebates, including a 75% rebate on the first $400 of donations, meaning the after tax cost of a $400 donation is $100.
