Kiss of Reality (KoR) return to Bar 303 for an immersive evening of progressive art-rock, cinematic soundscapes and explosive rhythmic interplay — performed completely live with no backing tracks.Founded in Berlin in 1991, KoR combine the intricate guitar language of Robert Fripp’s Guitar Craft tradition with powerful modern progressive textures, Chapman Stick counterpoint and hybrid acoustic/electronic percussion.
Their performances move seamlessly from atmospheric ambient passages to intense rhythm-driven compositions, creating a concert experience that feels both intimate and cinematic.
The band has toured extensively throughout Europe and Australia, supported Robert Fripp & The String Quartet on their 1993 European tour, and more recently appeared on Cherry Red Records’ “Chameleon – The Very Best of Toyah & Kiss of Reality,” which reached the UK Independent Albums Top 10 in 2025.
