Mirabai Warkulwiz has been offering devotional music events regularly in the Bay Area for over 20 years. She is trained in Indian music under the guidance of Sargam Shah, a disciple of Pundit Pran Nath’s Kirana lineage. Her album “Live from The Heart” is available on ITUNES and Spotify.
Mahavir is a long-time, local guest at Harbin, having discovered its wonderous waters 55 years ago in 1969, while a graduate student at UC, Berkeley. From an early age he trained in Western symphonic music as a bass-trombonist and later discovered East-Indian musical instruments in the early 1970’s. Mahavir was a regular in the Harbin Kirtan Band and has led kirtan for over 50 years. He began performing music concerts at Harbin in the 1990’s and has participated in many musical events at Harbin over the last three decades.
