Experience the power of sound through group chanting at the lovely Hills Yoga Studio in Helena Valley.Evening will begin with gently warming and exploring the voice with some toning which will harmonise and unite our collective energy. Then through mantra we will sing kirtan (devotional songs) as a group to raise our vibration and come into the heart space.
This is the primary practice of Bhakti Yoga whereby we collectively cultivate the feeling of love & devotion for our own divine nature which is inherent in all sentient beings.
This is both a meditative and uplifting experience that is open to all regardless of experience. Our voices will be supported by the sounds of harmonium, guitar, bass, percussion and electronic tanpura to create a meditative soundscape.
Your facilitators Harishakti & Michal have had many years of experience in offering Kirtan in the community and are so looking forward to sharing this Yoga practice with you.
Afternoon will conclude with opportunity to connect socially with some light refreshments…
