Kohl Mayberry (ECSTATIC DANCE)
Kohl (DJ Big Heart) started novice amateur DJing 20 years ago when he fell in love with electronic dance music. 7 years ago when Kohl had hit rock bottom and was in debilitating chronic physical pain with nowhere to turn, he stumbled upon an ecstatic dance. This dance completely cut Kohl wide open to the core and shook his entire being. He started dancing through his pain regularly both at home and in the community. Ecstatic dance has now become his obsession and he has participated in over 400 ecstatic dances. 5 years ago he started DJing ecstatic dances and in 2023 Kohl formed the organization now known as “Ecstatic Dance Batavia” where he started hosting and DJing ecstatic dances for the community to give back for the healing that he was gifted upon him and to share “the Gospel of ecstatic dance.”

Shanti (Wendy) Warnimont is a sacred space holder of the shamanic creative vibrational healing arts since 1990. As a lover and student of mantra, kirtan, sacred music, meditation and ecstatic states from many traditions, Shanti’s passion is to be an open channel for catalyzing loving awareness. Currently Shanti is hosting programs integrating Bhakti Yoga Appreciation, Shamanic Journeying, Moving Meditation and Mindful Music Meditation. Shanti is currently sharing kirtan mantra meditation experiences with her ensemble Ananda Lila Kirtan all around the Chicago, Wisconsin and Michigan area.
Paula Battaglio (HARP, PERCUSSION)
Paula started playing piano at age 5, after sitting at her mother’s feet listening to her play their grand piano. One day, her mother heard her playing Clair de Lune by ear and immediately found her a piano teacher. She eventually studied at the suburban branch of the New England Conservatory into her teens. She has played both acoustic and classical guitar, and hand percussion and djembe. Paula has found a special niche playing kirtan in many of Chicago’s kirtan bands, including Amy and the Bliss Tribe, Akoustikirtan, and Devi 2000. She discovered Celtic lever harp 20 years ago, and it has become her most beloved instrument. She is currently playing kirtan with Ananda Lila with Shanti Warnimont and Muriel Reymond. She also collaborates with Preston Klik, performing his Ocean of Devotion and Third Ear Music sound healing journeys.
Additionally, Paula weaves her many decades of experience with spiritual practice, energy healing, and music, into her healing and music practice. Her deep desire is to be a clear conduit for Light and Healing and assist others in their healing and awakening. As an intuitive empath, Paula has been drawn to energy healing since her 20s. She has studied many healing modalities, including Reiki (she is a Master Teacher), Healing Touch, Nomena Healing, Spectrums for Health and Wholeness, and Vortex Healing. She has also had a meditation practice for 35 years and has been in the Clairvision School of Meditation and Awakening for 20 years.
Muriel Reymond (WORLD PERCUSSION, VOCALS)
Muriel is a natural “heartist”. Singer-songwriter, sound weaver, intuitive painter, she draws her inspiration from her living environment.
She considers herself as a simple human being on Earth, with her unique French growing-up background, her experiences living in Japan, or traveling elsewhere on the planet discovering or reconnecting with different cultures.
Her music training includes classical singing, violin, viola and recorder, and medieval music. Her love for rhythm got her trained in Japanese taiko during her 5-year stay there. Since 2016, she has studied to play the frame drum with Marla Leigh Goldstein.
Her singing exploration guided her to train with Soul Voice International as a sound healer with the voice. This expansion allowed her to get a deeper connection with everything that is, (whether it is mineral, vegetal, animal, human, and beyond that state), and to dive into the therapeutic world of frequencies. Sound weaving is a way for her to improvise with the voice and touch the heart of people around, to remind themselves of their true nature.
She has always drawn since her childhood, but it was not until 4 years ago that she delved into intuitive painting, creating her first pouring paintings. She has evolved since, following her heart inspiration, to create mixed media art. https://www.murielreymond.com/
