Our next music event at CERES falls during the auspicious festival of Maha Shivaratri, the "The Great Night of Shiva", a festival of the convergence of Shiva and Shakti.
Maha Shivaratri represents the victory of light over ignorance and darkness. It is believed that Lord Shiva vanquished Tripurasura, the demon of ignorance and ego, on this particular evening.
Kirtan at CERES aims to foster Indian folk music in order to provide harmony and connection with self, community and nature.
Please bring a cushion for your own comfort.
There will be a delicious vegan meal, chai and sweets available to purchase. All food is vegan, gluten free, allium free (no onion/garlic/leek/chives/shallots). (Cooked in a kitchen that may have gluten and nuts).
We have EFTPOS facilities for your convenience.
The venue is the CERES Environment Park's Learning Centre located at Lee St Brunswick East.
Doors open at 7pm when food and chai will be available. Music will start at 7:30pm.
Free admission for children under 18.
