Join us beneath the waxing crescent moon for an evening of sacred song, intention, and heart-centered community. This gathering takes place during the first lunar cycle of the new year…a sacred threshold between the old zodiac year and the Lunar New Year to come. In many Asian traditions, this waxing crescent phase is a time for clearing, intention-setting, and preparing the heart for the cycle ahead. As this moon grows toward the full moon that will open the Lunar New Year season, we gather to plant our prayers in sound.
Anahata Kirtan will guide us through mantra and melody using harmonium, guitar, percussion, and sing along as well as call-and-response chanting. No singing experience is needed but your voice, your listening, and your presence are all welcome. You may sing, hum, meditate, or simply rest in the sound.
This gathering is an invitation to gently set intentions for the new year, to soften the nervous system, and to remember the joy of being held in collective vibration.
✨ All are welcome
🌙 No experience necessary
🎶 Come as you are
Bring a journal if you’d like to write intentions, and anything that helps you feel comfortable and cozy.
We look forward to sharing this beautiful crescent-moon beginning with you.
