Award-winning singer/songwriter Kirsten Adamson (daughter of Stuart Adamson of Big Country and Skids fame) summons the same heart-stopping purity as Sandy Denny, by way of Emmylou Harris and Kate Bush. Her second solo album Landing Place (2023) is a glorious powerhouse of emotionally charged, beautifully delivered songs that bustle and glisten with echoes of folk rock and country gems. Adamson and her band The Tanagers are about to release the follow-up, Dreamviewer, recorded with award-winning producer/multi-instrumentalist Joe Harvey-Whyte.
