Join us on Thursday 23rd October, 1-5pm for a Lino printing workshop inspired by Kirkcaldy’s Linoleum industry. Curator, Lily Barnes will give a brief history of linoleum and showcase some of the museum’s collections. Then Kirkcaldy Art Club Tutor and artist, Dot Black will help you create your own designs. We will work at a relaxed pace and have fun learning the basics of relief printing and the reduction print process, using the museum collection or our own chosen images as inspiration. We will produce several prints each using 2 or 3 colours. Suitable for beginners or more experienced adults, Dot will work with you at your pace.
