We are proud to be working with the Military Vehicle Trust and Kirkby Stephen Town to run our 3rd 1940s weekend over two days.Admission is FREE with charges for train rides (on the half hour).
FREE Park and Ride Scheme from the Auction Mart in Kirkby Stephen using Cumbria Classic Coaches. The bus will also meet trains from the Settle and Carlisle Railway Station
Re-enactors will be telling the story of life on the home front in Cumbria with military and other period vehicles on display. There will be a camping demonstration in the field adjacent to the site.
Living history re-enactors will be on site including a military regiment, a photographic group and much more.
There will be a road run between the station and Winton on Saturday.
Catering will be provided in our 1930s buffet car with staff discount for visitors in 1940s / military costume.
