The Kirk Players bring Mowgli and the whole gang together for The Jungle Book, by Joseph Robinette, based on the book by Rudyard Kipling. Follow Mowgli, the boy raised by wolves, as he learns the ways of the jungle with the help of his friends Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther, all while evading the menacing Shere Khan. Simultaneously, witness young Rudyard's experiences in a British boarding school, where he encounters his own "jungle" of characters mirroring those in Mowgli's world. This parallel storytelling offers a rich exploration of courage, friendship, and self-discovery.
Coming to the Mundelein High School Theatre stage:
