Known for having Smooth, Silky Vocals, Kirby (a New Orleans native) has had an intimate relationship with music since the early age of 12. From Sammy Davis, Jr. to James Brown, Kirby has shared the stage with well-known artists such as Paula Abdul, Michael Cooper, En Vogue, New Edition, Christopher Williams and more. Currently one of the lead vocals of power-house, well-known group Pride & Joy, Kirby’s alter ego is his ever-so-classic solo performance of the ‘Classics’; where his operatic and suave vocals have left his heart on the stage. The television and motion picture industry saw roles in “One on One”, “Death Wish” and “Inside Moves”. Most will remember Kirby in his starring role as Randy in the PBS television series ‘Up and Coming”, which aired nationwide for several years. Influenced at an early age by the music of Johnny Mathis, The Platters, Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Teddy Pendergrass, and others, Kirby is known for his harmonic passion, creative delivery, and artistic excellence. Dedicated to preserving many of the Classic songs we all know and love, Kirby takes you on a nostalgic, musical journey through the 60’s and 70’s.
