Do you have some fish in your freezer that has been there a while? Maybe you had a great year of fishing, and have a freezer full of Alaska’s bounty? Either way, you can learn some ways to deliciously preserve your catch in this class. Delight your friends and family with simple methods that anyone can utilize in a home setting.This class will cover brining, drying, and hot smoking kippered salmon (with two different brine options) and the making and serving of gravlax. Students will have the opportunity to sample Chase’s recipes during class.
Please note: students do not need to bring their own fish. They will leave with the information and skills to prepare kippered salmon and/or gravlax at home.
Cost: $40
