Wrap fabric around foam to create a beautiful, quilt-like image—no sewing needed! A fun, hands-on way to "paint" with textiles.
About this Event

Discover the magic of Kinusaiga, a unique Japanese fiber art that lets you "paint" with fabric—no sewing required! In this hands-on workshop, you'll transform fabric scraps into a stunning, quilt-like image by wrapping and securing them onto foam board. The result? A rich, textured artwork that blends the warmth of textiles with the beauty of painting.

Why You’ll Love This Workshop:
🖌️ No sewing—just fabric, creativity, and fun!
🎨 Watch your image come to life with texture and depth.
♻️ Use fabric scraps, even old clothing, to give them a second life.
🤩 A relaxing, meditative process that’s perfect for all skill levels!

What to bring:

  • A print of choice (landscapes work great, faces won't have details)
  • Any scrap fabric, including clothes that are unfit for donating.
