Welcome to the New Mom's Community Event! Join us at Venue 308 located at 11 Avenue Southeast, Calgary, AB, Canada for a day filled with fun, support, and connection. This program is aimed at supporting New Mom's (or soon to be!) through the first year of being a new mom. This is a baby friendly event, so we've created spaces for you to bring your little ones if you'd like and have them join you.
There are three ways to participate in this event and so there are three different ticket options:
1) You want to attend this event!
2) You want to sponsor a mom you know and love and gift them the ticket (Early Mother's Day gift perhaps?)
3) You want to sponsor a mom as a company, business or person that is looking to support this new community.
There is also the option of donating to the event and your dollars will go towards putting together more items for each mom in attendance.
Our event will feature Movement from Laura Halvorsen, our favourite pre and post natal yoga teacher, two workshops on mental and physical wellbeing as a new mom, a Self Massage Class with Ariffa Lalani as well as more surprises from the community that have come together to put on this program.
Sweet Ginger Photography has generously donated her time and services to provide individual photos of Mom + Babies during the event*.
This event is the perfect opportunity to meet other moms in your community, share experiences, and learn from each other. Once you're signed up, we'll send you a form asking for what you're looking for and we'll match you with other attendees that are looking for the same thing, like a yoga class partner, playdates, walking buddy etc.
We have more partners that have generously donated door prizes and contributed to make a great take home bag for our moms. We'll be releasing what that looks like on our social media @kinship.community on Instagram.
It's our goal you leave feeling like you've joined a supportive community and you're walking away with connections with people and providers alike to support you in the years ahead.
