The annual German Film Festival returns on October 16-19, 2025, at Shangri-La Plaza Red Carpet Cinemas. Enjoy a curated selection of the boldest, most talked-about films from Germany’s vibrant cinema scene for free!This year’s festival showcases eight (8) contemporary German films and five (5) Filipino short films, fostering a vibrant exchange between two dynamic cinema cultures. The selections revolve around themes of memory, reimagining, and the confrontation of perspectives, while also exploring family, belonging, and care. Together, they invite audiences to reflect on personal ties, collective histories, and the power of cinema to connect communities across borders.
All screenings of the KinoFest 2025 will take place from October 16-19, 2025 at the Shangri-La Plaza, Red Carpet Cinemas, Cinema 3 and Premiere Cinema. Admission is FREE on a first-come, first-served basis and tickets can be claimed at the KinoFest booth near Cinema 3 one (1) hour before each screening starts.
