Welcome to the Shire of Carreg Wen’s King’s Hunt! We will have games, and heavy combat as well as rapier, the formats depending on attendance. We will have a ‘bring out your arts competition finished or unfinished projects’, with a populace’s vote shortly before closing comments. We will also have a ‘bring your own picnic lunch’, with coffee and tea provided.SCHEDULE:
7:30am - Site opens for local set up
9am - Site opens for attendees
10am - Opening comments (fighting to follow shortly afterwards)
Noon-ish - Luncheon
Closing comments (when appropriate)
4:30pm - Site closes
EVENT REGISTRATION: Adult Event Registration $20.00. Adult Member Discount $10.00. Children 17 and under are guests of the Shire. Please makes checks payable to: “SCA, Inc./ Shire of Carreg Wen.”

DIRECTIONS:
From the North - Take 101 South, this is where it gets spicy, get in the left hand turn lane, cross North 101 traffic, and turn on to Old Coast HWY. Turn right toward the farm building and pass them. Turn Left at the next stop sign Alisal Road, drive and the entrance will be on the right hand side.
A less spicy option is to drive on to the HWY One off ramp, drive over the 101, and get on the south bound 101. Take a right on Old Coast HWY. Turn right towards the farm buildings and pass them. Turn left at the next stop sign Alisal Road, drive and the entrance will be on the right hand side.
From the South - Take 101 North and turn on to Old Coast HWY. Turn right towards the farm buildings and pass them. Turn left at the next stop sign Alisal Road, drive and the entrance will be on the right hand side.
From Solvang scenic route - head south out of Solvang on South Alisal Road. Drive for miles through oak tree canyons, rolling hills of wild flowers, bicyclist, and cow pasture vistas, eventually getting to Nojoqui Falls Park entrance will be on the left. Do check ahead of time because this road sometimes washes out and you will not be able to reach the park.
