After last year's very scattered Christmas, we can't wait to 'Come Home', to the warmest of King's Church welcomes, for togetherness, family and the absolute joy of the message of Christmas, this December.Our Carols by Candlelight service provides a beautiful space to celebrate and reflect on the 'reason for the season', suitable for the whole family, we'll gather around candles, warming yummy treats and the message of the greatest Christmas Gift of all time - it'll really feel like coming home!
No need to book ahead, just turn up, but do plan ahead as this service is often very popular.

Covid update:
We'll be keeping an eye on Government Guidance and responding accordingly, if restrictions do need to be increased, we are confident that this service should be able to go ahead, but we may have to instate a ticketing system - click 'attending' to stay updated.
Here's our Covid plan for now:
- Hand sanitiser will be available on the front table and will be encouraged
Touch points will be cleaned before services/ events
- Masks have been encouraged by the government when gathering in large groups and, although these won't be mandatory, there will be masks available on the door and you are welcome to make the choice to wear one when in the building.
- King's staff and voluntary teams will endeavour to take a lateral flow test before coming to King's services/ events.
- Where possible, we will create more options for more distanced seating.
- We are in a very different position to this time last year in that we have access to lateral flow tests, to remove some of the mystery around who might be carrying the coronavirus at our gatherings. Although we cannot, of course, mandate or monitor this, we would be really grateful if you felt able to take a leteral flow test yourself before attending any of our services and events.
