Join us during Sunday morning worship at 8:15 or 11:00am for our new sermon series. Much of the teaching Jesus did was through parables: short stories from everyday life that point to a deeper meaning. In particular, Jesus taught about God’s Kingdom – what we might describe as God’s way of being in our world. In this sermon series we are looking at four parables that point to a God who is at work in the ways we might least expect. At a certain level, these stories don’t make much sense – they sometimes leave us with more questions than answers. But, if we are open to the stories they tell, we have the opportunity to discover a God who surprises us with grace – and who invites us to join Jesus in sharing love that breaks the mold and mercy that moves mountains.
