Milton Putman is a dynamic entrepreneur, public speaker, and community advocate. He is the CEO and Founder of Complete Dominance Athletics (C.D.A) and Complete Image Manufacturing and serves as the Executive Director of the Detroit Garment Group. Milton's multifaceted career is defined by his commitment to business innovation, community service, and fashion industry advancement.
Founded in December 2015, C.D.A began as a personal training service and expanded into a comprehensive fitness and sports emporium. The company is a certified MBE with the National Minority Supplier Development Council through its Detroit affiliate, the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council. The company has expanded and now offers apparel, sports accessories, and fitness equipment. Recognized as one of the few American-based manufacturers and wholesalers on Alibaba, C.D.A has been instrumental in helping brands develop their apparel and branding lines.
Located in Detroit, Complete Image Manufacturing is an apparel production and retail company. Its mission is to support emerging designers and brands by providing manufacturing, product development, and distribution services. The company also serves schools and other businesses, offering a platform for new designers to showcase their creativity and build their retail portfolios.
As Executive Director of the Detroit Garment Group, a non-profit, Milton works to educate, inspire, and promote fashion designers and brands. He aims to revitalize Detroit’s rich fashion history by organizing expos, pitch competitions, and mentorship programs that prepare members for retail and buyer engagement. Milton envisions Detroit as a major hub for fashion innovation.
Milton serves as the Sponsorship Chair for the Detroit Fashion Community (DFC), an organization dedicated to bridging the gap between fashion enthusiasts and business opportunities. He is committed to elevating Detroit’s status in the fashion world by connecting with various fashion opportunities nationwide and promoting Detroit as a flagship for fashion on the global stage.
An active member of the National Entrepreneur Association (NEA), Milton sits on the board of leadership for the Young Entrepreneur (YE) program. Milton’s commitment to his community is evident in his role on the advisory board of his childhood recreation center, Lasky Recreation Center. He aims to integrate skilled trades into the textile and fashion industries, anticipating the future impact of technology on these fields.
