Come along to the King St Book Club and join us for an evening of lively and in-depth discussion of The Postcard by Anne Berest, translated by Tina Kover.
At once a gripping investigation into family secrets, a poignant tale of mothers and daughters, and an enthralling portrait of 20th-century Parisian intellectual and artistic life, The Postcard tells the story of a family devastated by the Holocaust and yet somehow restored by love and the power of storytelling.
The book and conversation facilitated by Avid Reader's Bookclubs Manager, Jennifer Stephens, a glass of wine, and tastes of King Street are all included in your book club ticket.
This month we will meet at 3 Bros Korean Bistro, 5/45 King St, Bowen Hills.
Current Book Club members will collect their book at our May meeting at artisan and new members can arrange collection from King St, Bowen Hills or Avid Reader, West End.
