The King of the Putt tournament is back at Ritual Brewery in Redlands on Sunday, August 6! Entry is $30 per team.Registration can be found using this link discgolfscene.com/KOTP2
Format: Bring your own partner. 2 putters needed per player. 1 and 2 point lines. Bonus 2 points if a team makes all 4 putts and at least two are from the 2 point line. First team to 21 or more wins (more points the better).
Match structure: Teams will be split into brackets and play at least 3 prelim matches. Top teams from each bracket move on. Additional playoff spots are awarded based on the number of teams (the more teams, the more make the playoffs).
Playoffs: All Playoff matches will be best 2 of 3 (change from the first event). Playoff opponents will be determined how you place in your bracket. You will play a team from another bracket (if you are the first seed in bracket A, you would play the second seed in bracket B,C, or D).
Prizes: We are paying out cash to the top finishers. Prize money will be based on the number of teams entered.
1-4 teams: Top 2 teams
5-11 teams: Top 3 teams
12-32 teams: Top 4 teams.
Tie Breakers: In the event that two teams in a bracket are tied, the following tie breakers will be used to determine who advances or get which seed.
1) Most points scored
2) Point differential
3) Head to head
4) Playoff match will be played
Rules:
No jump or step putting. All putts are within the circle.
No outside alcohol allowed. All purchased drinks must be kept inside the gate or building.
Smoking/vaping is not allowed on the property. Tobacco/nicotine vapes can be used in the smoking area in front of the building. Any other substances are not allowed on the property.
