King of the Bay is a catch n release competition to be hosted by Bobbies Angling Club and Fynnland Angling Club.
The competition will be held on 30th November 2024 in Durban Bay.
All fish will be measured by the angler on a measuring mat, photographed and released thus saving our fish for the future generation.
Once caught the photo will be sent to our Ops room where we will convert it from length to weight via the ORI conversion formula.
No fish will be brought to the scales.
Captains briefing will be on 29th November at Fynnland Angling Club in Seafarer Road, Bayhead at 19h00.
Lines in at 06h00 and Lines up at 14h00.
Only edible legal-size fish will count for the fantastic array of prizes.
Competition is open to all registered boats and fishing skis.
