King Margo is a magnetic female alt-country/Americana act based in Nashville, TN. Their 2022 “Waters Rise” album is filled with what Saving Country Music proclaims as “interesting and curious textures throughout, unique and unexpected approaches to songs, and inspired songwriting graced by soaring performances.” The group consists of Lucciana Costa and Rachel Coats, who grew up in the Midwest 40 minutes apart but didn't meet until many years later in the middle of a Kentucky field. They connected instantly, both musically and personally, and the seeds for what would eventually become King Margo were planted. Often collaborating with fellow Nashville troubadour Gabe Lee, this duo is one to watch.
