About this Event
Strong preliminary skills are essential for a smooth transition into kindergarten, setting the foundation for a child’s academic and social success. Skills like letter and number recognition, fine motor development, and the ability to follow directions help young learners feel confident and ready to engage in the classroom. Without these foundational abilities, children may struggle to keep pace with their peers, leading to frustration, lower self-esteem, and potential learning gaps that can persist throughout their education. By ensuring children develop these skills early, we give them the best chance to thrive from the very start.
This two-week kindergarten preparedness class will be collaboratively taught by ELS educators Deborah Kelly and Debbie Hepner. Students will move their bodies, problem solve, and have loads of fun while strengthening their fundamental skills. Social emotional learning will be incorporated into all sessions, and accommodations will be provided as is appropriate. The teacher to student ratio will be kept to 1:5 or below.
At just $65.20 per class, this series offers incredible value with small class sizes that ensure personalized support. Led by highly skilled educators with special education backgrounds, students receive individualized instruction to build essential kindergarten skills with confidence.
Please note, this is a 10-class series. Tickets include all ten classes.
