Kimekomi Class
In this exciting class, you will be learning the art of Kimekomi, a Japanese art form in which fabric pieces are tucked into a base. You will create an 8X8 inch work of art and learn the basics, from choosing a design and cutting it into the foam to selecting, cutting, and tucking the fabric into the grooves. Stained glass patterns can be helpful as design ideas. Keep it simple until you have practiced a bit, as small details in a design are best done after mastering the art. If you don't want to draw your own design, there are designs available.
