Make your own KIMCHI in this cooking workshop with the Korean Center. Limited spots available!

What to Expect
10 minutes: An introduction to the history of Kimchi
20 minutes: Demonstration on prepping and brining vegetables, and making kimchi sauce
15 minutes: Hands-on experience preparing ingredients by chopping and salting them
15 minutes: Making the kimchi paste, mixing everything together, and packing it into jars to take home
10 minutes: Open Q&A session for any questions you might have!
What You'll Get
Take home the kimchi you made, packed in a mason jar.
Enjoy kimchi tasting and light snacks during the workshop. We provide all supplies and ingredients*
Dietary Information
Vegetarian-friendly: Please note that our kimchi contains fish/shrimp sauce. While it’s NOT vegan, it’s suitable for vegetarians who are comfortable with fish-based products.
Allergy Caution: The kimchi contains garlic and onions, which may be allergens for some. We can adjust the recipe if needed, just let us know in advance!
After the Workshop
To wrap up, we’ll serve kimchi tasting, kimchi pancakes, and some refreshing rice wine (makgeolli) for everyone to enjoy.
