After years of lending her powerhouse vocals to others including Myke Gray, Voodoo Blood, Revival Black, Kim has emerged from the shadows, stronger than ever. Her electrifying performance at Download Festival and captivating audiences on The Voice was just the beginning.
Now, with a story to tell and a fire in her soul, Kim is writing her own music—blending the raw edge of Skunk Anansie with the irresistible hooks of early Avril Lavigne, creating a sound that’s unapologetically her own.
“I wrote this song when I was feeling down about being back in England after my time touring America,” Kim explains. “It’s almost like a comfort song for myself—a reminder that even though things might feel tough, I’m strong for leaving a toxic relationship behind. Listening to old-school 90s and 2000s pop/rock empowers me, makes me feel good and I wanted to channel that energy into this track.”
