KIM GIRDLESTONE BAND — Daisy-Chain Blues
Kim Girdlestone has one of those voices that just lands in the room — warm, soulful, and full of stories. There’s an ease to her delivery, but underneath sits real craft and fire, earning her a place as a 2024 Sydney Blues Society Challenge finalist. She’ll take you somewhere tender, then drop a cheeky line or twist. With Gavin Moar (Cote Guitars), Jed Wesley-Smith (bass), and Alex Spango (drums), the band brings the songs to life with groove and bite. They even popped up on Channel 7 and 9 News recently, in aid of supporting live music across NSW.

PETE CAMPBELL & THE LAZY DOG — Folk Rock
Pete Campbell writes the kind of songs that feel like they’ve always been part of the soundtrack — honest storytelling, big melodies, and that unmistakable Aussie heart. A winner of the 2024 Fretfest Song Contest, he’s gearing up to release Barely Fed (early 2026) recorded with his live band The Lazy Dog featuring Jed Wesley-Smith on bass and Tim Bradley on drums. Roots-driven grooves and choruses built for singing along — warm, real, and full of life.
