Great Divide Mountain Bike Route Q&A, Sunday, November 10 - The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR) takes intrepid riders 2,700 miles off-road from Banff, Alberta, all the way to the Mexico border. The route skirts the Continental Divide and includes some seriously rough terrain, so the right gear and preparation are essential. Iowa City cyclists Kim Sprenger and Duane Staskal just tackled the GDMBR, and World of Bikes played a key role in outfitting them for the journey. On Sunday, November 10, 2 PM - 4 PM, you're invited to World of Bikes for a Q&A with Duane and Kim about this epic adventure. Come check out their bikes, get tips on the best bikepacking gear, and ask all your burning questions about bear spray and alpaca clothing. Enjoy some food, have a glass of beer or wine, and ponder what 183,000 feet of climbing must feel like. This community-friendly event is co-sponsored by World of Bikes and the Iowa HEAT Endurance Club. See you November 10th!
